GDST EdTech 25 is a pedagogically-driven professional development programme for GDST teachers which originated during Guided Home & Hybrid Learning. The programme is held online, approximately 10 times per term, with sessions being recorded to they can also be viewed asynchronously. Cris Turple, a fellow educational consultant works alongside me to organise the programme and we co-host each session. The most recent programme, on AI in Education, attracted over 150 teachers from across the Trust.
The session comprises of a 25-minute demo of practical teaching ideas or discussion with an expert in the field, followed by an optional 25-minute Q&A session, where questions are submitted in advance by participants.
The programme has covered a range of topics, including:
Using technology to personalise learning
Creating engaging online lessons
Using data to improve teaching and learning
Supporting students with special educational needs
Safe and responsible use of technology
